The Story of LOT 8.....After 15+ years of visiting the Black Hills, we were ready to make the move. We had seen a lot of great property for sale in that time, and some that checked a lot of boxes, but none that checked them all. While visiting the area in the fall of 2022, we stumbled on what appeared to be a new development outside of Whitewood, but nothing was listed on the MLS yet. After hiking to the top of lot 8, we knew we had found the perfect lot; the lot that checked ALL the boxes. We wanted property with the right balance of trees and clearing, property that was private, yet the view not blocked, and ideally property that offered a unique view of prairie, hills, and forest. It was a tall order, and needless to say, we were somewhat in disbelieve at what we had found, as it not only had all of that, but it also boasted a direct sight line of Bear Butte.
